This is a professional medical text which contains definitions or descriptions of diseases, pathgenesis, epidemioloy, etiology, treaments and related materials. The full text of this medical resource is also available in the database Stat!Ref.
QR9.E53 Encyclopedia of Microbiology. 2nd ed., 2000. For diseases caused by bacteria or viruses, this is an excellent starting point.
NetLibrary - Type the disease you are researching in the subject box. Books available in the NetLibrary collection are linked from the LSC-Kingwood Library Catalog. Titles such as the Encyclopedia of Infectious Diseases, and Current Clinical Topics in Infectious Diseases are available full text online.
