Bureau of Land Management, Eastern States
This government bureau provides access to over nine million land title documents for the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missippi, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The database may be searched by name of patentee or by specific land description.
USGS Mapping Information: GNIS Data Base Query Form

National Archives
